Does "it feels (I feel) like Nagasaki" mean anything to you?

I found this phrase in the scrip of the movie "The Art of Getting By" and in the lyrics of "Lucky Me" by Icehouse.

I also wonder why Nagasaki, not Hiroshima.

Weird phrase indeed. I don't know this movie, but it made me wonder about it too.

Maybe it's something like extreme rejection and unimportance, or something.. Like someone throws something bad "bomb" to you.. And it's not Hiroshima, because Hiroshima got bombed before Nagasaki. So.. it's so bad that, you can't even be first one at getting beaten.

...Sorry, if I got it very wrong, but that's all I could think up about this. ^_^

I have never heard of the expression, and would like to know what it means...
