because people speak English
How to make an online group discussion effective ?
There can be many things to talk about, like:
How many members...?
How long time...?
How to prepare on topics...?
Leadership...?
Timing...? ...and so on.
Please, don't hesitate to share any of your idea. Thanks a bunch in advance!

What I learn from my experiences when I joined various groups on Skype, Facebook, etc there is one important thing the groups' founders, leaders or moderators should have: rules. Before you start the discussion or group, create rules first, Rajesh. You can discuss about the rules with members of your groups whom you can trust. Put some limitations and also kinds of consequences that members will deal if they break the rules.
It's important because if a group, no matter how small it is, doesn't have any rules, it won't last longer. That's why I learned. Some group owners on Skype or Facebook that I joined didn't make any rules or didn't act firmly about the rules. Some members made problems, the others get hurt and many left. The groups finally like desolated land.

R the truth. :P I'm agree with this very important point...and I hope we can have a group, where, we can make our wish come true... :-)
Thanks a bunch!
I think there's no rule in online group discussion to be effective, anyone can join the fun and participate in any discussion as long as you loved what your doing.. ( do I understand it correcctly???)

Rosalie, I don't think so. I think, we must have some rules in online discussion either, and I'm agree with what Ario said...
Thanks!
Permalink Reply by Reliance kh on May 22, 2012 at 9:52 I think it depends on the subjects of discussion and it needs to know more a bout members caring in addition to care a bout the pleasure time for them beside anyone who care should participate without borders for skills or for certifications ..It's just needing to prepare it well .Nice subject Rajesh
