If a Stranger Asked You Some Money, Would You Give It?

I just met a friend of mine who is also my neighbour. She said that a few minutes before a young boy came to her, said that his mother was hospitalized. He needed money and asked her to help him. My friend was in a position between believing and not. On one hand, as a human being, she knew that she had to help people who needed help but, on the other hand, he could be lying because such things happened sometimes. So she asked him to go to the head village's home (you can say so) to prove that he was true. But after he had gone, she felt sorry. "What if he's true?" her heart said.

What if it happened to you? Would you help that guy and gave the money he asked?

here i will follow my feelings , this is the only thing can be honest with me in this world  , i know that the world has changed , and many bad things happens like what you say but in every case your feeling can show you the truth .i think that's the right , don't you ??

well dear chandra ,

first i will look at him , at his clothes and his face , i will fix my eyes in his eyes , then i will decide if i will give him money or no ,maybe i will do more than giving him money.

Hi, The Archer. Thank you for liking this topic and sharing your experience. Thank God you were saved! :D Do you know why she was kindly to help you? I think because, firstly, she knew you and, secondly, she knew before her eyes that you needed money. You were both on the same bus. There's no possibility that you were lying. But what happened to my friend was different. I could understand her response and I might do the same thing if I were her. Do you know? When I asked this question to one of my friend, he said that he would shoot him in the face! lol

It is a hard situation. Sometimes we, human beings, have conflicts between our feelings and logic. while brain is saying, we shouldnt do everything, it can be a big mistake, our hearts force us do something which brain doenst let. when we act according to our logic, our heart can feel bad, and vice versa too. this situation is a big dilemma.

how could I act if i lived this kind of situation? mmm I'm not sure. If the man could persuade me about his situation, maybe I could give some money to him, but I cant respond your question accurately since I didnt live that event.

It depends how much money. I've given to some beggars in past.. Once, or twice, or smth I gave some drunkard too, he asked it to buy beer to fix his hangover. Not that I felt sorry or smth. I just wanted to get rid of him.. He was such kind of drunkard who would follow you and blabber. For some reason such people often approach me... Lately not so often, maybe I've developed some more unfriendly aura..

But some years ago it was quite troublesome. There's a lot of people in street, but why the hell did they chose me?

One time a long time ago, I gave money to a woman for bus fare too. She had ran away from home, after fight with husband and wanted to go to other down to her parents house.. Or at least that what she said. No she wasn't a young beautiful lady, whom I could not leave be. lol She was a middle aged woman, whom I did not like much at all. But she really looked like in desperate situation. She wanted to know my postal address so that she could send the money back to me. But I denied to give my address.. I thought it's not so big loss to me. It was not that expensive. I said she can donate for charity or smth.... Well in end she asked me to wait in same place at certain day and time, and then she will be there again and bay back. I though long whether to go or not, in end I did have nothing better to do and went there.. of course she didn't show up... It would have been better, if I didn't go. I felt like fool. :P

One time a little boy in rags asked money from me. I asked what for you need it. "buy waffles" he replied with shining face full of awakened hope. I replied then "no".. I don't remember why I denied, or what I thought.. I believe I just remembered how I was taught to never accept any candies or anything from strangers, when I was kid.. We were told in school to tell adults or call police, if some adult perverted uncle offers candy... So yeah, i felt uncomfortable about it for moment. I'm not a pervert. lol

But it was cruel. That bright shining smile that appeared when he said "buy waffle" disappeared like that.. I'm so cruel..

PS. I wonder if I seem like easy catch or smth? Last year I had a better experience too.. It was not money that was asked. There was a old lady in store staying there and then she asked my help to help the back bag to his back. She was old and crooked, could not bend arm to behind her back to get back bag on. Well I'm glad to help obviously. But what irritated me, was that again there was a lot of other people in store. There was a man staying near to her waiting there probably own wife who was shopping in store. There was a lot of other people, but she waited until I came. Why me? Do I look like kind and ready to help person? Or I look like a idiot who's easy to use?

Well that lady thanked me wordily and a lot. It was in Russian, that I could not understand well.. But I at least know, she really meant it. So I suppose she did not chose me because I looked like a stupid guy. :P

Was it on the street? lol And I felt sorry, too, when reading about "the Waffle Boy". :( Well, such a thing can happen sometimes. We are human being can't always know what to do or that will always do the right things only. :)

Assalmualikum Chandra

First a fall I will collect information from him and think whether he is telling  right or wrong . If I will satisfy I will give him or In short I will visit hospital and call to hospital and  get information from hospital staff and help him. and sent message to my friends group ( If anybody want to earn good deed help him in sake of Allah ) .Nowadays investigation is important because few peoples have a habit to collect money for wrong purpose showing they are needy
