If you were offered a trip on a space shuttle..

 

Hi,

Dear friends,

 

If you were offered a trip on a space shuttle, would you go? Why or why not?

 

My answer: at this moment, I think I won't even though I really love to see stars and planet earth from different angle, but, I think it would be very terrifying since I do not trust shuttles at all. And, of course, I prefer to die on earth rather than in the space and on a exploding shuttle.

 

How about you? Would you go? Why or why not?

I would take the offer without any doubt. I was born in 1961, the year when Soviet Union sent first human being into Space.

"Yuri Gagarin was the first human being to journey into outer space, when his Vostok spacecraft completed an orbit of the Earth on April 12, 1961"

When I was growing up, all Russian boys dreamed about becoming Astronauts. 

So it would be my childhood dream come true. What could be more exciting then this.

And my heart would sing "Fly Me To The Moon"

Yes! I love to travel on space. I'm dreaming to become astronaut. I'm curious about galaxy, solar system, moon. Like,how does it feel to be on space. I want to be the next Neil Armstrong of Apollo 11. That's very great...

No. Since the chance that I would be offered a space shuttle trip, is basically zero. I could as well wait the offering to have a trip to outer space with some more advanced technology.. Something from fictional stories. Like a Gundams,or to go to trip with a Starship Enterprise on galaxy highways..

So it's no to current space shuttle, but yes to some more advanced spacecraft. Actually I'm afraid of the acceleration to the orbit. How many months of draining it requires, before they can give you okay, that u can withstand that acceleration and the space flight? I'm afraid my health just isn't good enough for it. I probably black out from the acceleration.... So the future technology could be much better where I could just teleport to the starship, without that scary acceleration. :P

 

PS. I would not even go to ride a coaster of amusement park.. Not that I'm so much scared, but I just won't do stupid things that likely aren't good for my health. ^_^

Ohh dear Nafis, it's for sure i wouldn't go. I have never been interested by science fiction and to go there without the guaranty to come back on earth is enough for me to decline the offer. I prefer to keep my feet on the ground and to watch the stars from our beautiful blue planet.
