For what reason? If you were dying from some disease I would think about it. And if you're OK it's pointless. But I can give you some advice or talk to you about your problems, if you want.

You see, money is not the solution to all problems and giving anyone all he wants is not as well. There's a saying that it's more useful to teach person how to fish and hunt than to supply him with food.

I know it's a very complicated and disputable question but if a person can use his brain and learn from his experience, he understand whom he should help and what the help should be.

I didn't mean to say that you're NOT a good friend. I've just said that there's only one way to find good people and it's to be one of those yourself. I'm sorry if I've offended you somehow.

As for your question. If I definitely knew that the money would went to real person and really helped him, I think, I would give 50 bucks, it's not a huge sum.

But another problem is that in case of helping a completely unknown person I can never be sure if the money won't spent on some criminal activities.
