Definitely. There is no doubt, truth is always bitter for everybody. It is my personal experience. So I like to change my self , because i affected many times , in many situations by speaking truth, but I can't . Nobody likes my words and me. Friendship also declined  because of speaking truth at any place at every moment.Still I experienced it in my everyday life.Thanks a lot for a good topic.

Definitely, truth is not bitter, if person is not a fool to use new knowledge for future life. What kind of truth are we talking about? I think, you need to grow up, Deepa.

Hello Naelle ,

We speaks about truth , we converse with everybody in our daily life each and every minute.Many of us  use only falsehood  for many reasons , like to get the benefit from us.They change themselves according to their situations they meet, i mean the way of speaking.If there any gain they get from that they use falsehood  and doesn't have the quality of being true.I always met  people like this. Is yours is different from this ? In what ways ? Will you please mention one of them ?

truth is bitter because  bitter medicine is more effective. truth is harmful for the time being but its result is long lasting.

If the outcomes of truth has benefit for you then truth won't be bitter at all. On the other hand life's ugly truths( like illnesses, disasters) are always bitter for all of us.

It depends on what truth refers to. Some is but some isn't. But mostly, it is. We often come across in our daily life that many facts are not as sweet as we hope. But no matter how bitter they are, they lead us to take the right step and not to follow our illusion. :)

Not always, but not that rarely too... :) Truth is Reality that we will have to deal with after all, sooner or later, be it ever sweet or bitter. But however, a bitter truth is definitely better than  a sweet lie. Bitter thruth is like a bitter herb tasting sometimes awful yet it cures our ailing soul like the bitter herb cures our ailing body, while the sweet lie merely works rather like an antidepressant, having a timely appeasing effect yet poisoning our soul gradually.
