why people celebrate christmas ?

I want to know ,why people celebrate Christmas ? and How you Celebrate Christmas.

Can you write regarding your Christmas Day.

Plain answer: because of tradition. Many people want to ignore and lots of people know these dates are related to Pagan celebrations which were later transformed into a 'Christian' one so that Pagans were more attracted to the new regulations of the Church, just google 'Origin of Christmas' and you'll have all the info you need.

Now this celebration seems to be the only one in which the whole world comes together to talk about peace, love and unity. And people eat a lot. At least that's what happens in my country. Mehh...

Yeah, I'm a Christmas grinch.

what android said is true but with a small correction in it.not just to talk about peace,love and unity but to practice it,if i am correct.this is what i do to please my almighty father jesus christ.thank you
