Be a Newscaster (2011)

Every Tuesday English Club publishes a weekly news report. There is a self study exercise to go with the story.

You can practise your speaking by recording your voice as you read the transcript. Upload your report in the comments below by using a program like Audioboo, or by recording it on your computer and using the paperclip above to upload the MP3 file. You can share your recording each week.

You can also record yourself answering the discussion question. Have fun!

Unfortunately we don't have here the paperclip. It would be even better to upload MP3 file.

Sorry for my sound quality. I don't have my headset plugged in. Plugging in a set of headphones usually helps reduce the background noise. Rafal also suggested playing with the volume of the microphone. I must try that.

Thank you Tara for the pronunciation tips,I always have problems with word stress,especially in a "long" text.

I aways afraid of sounding monotone and boring....it's quite a challenge for me to listen to my own record....

I'll take care not to copy the text in the future,I'll link them here.
