Little Bee

I'm almost finished my book club book for February. It's a novel called "Little Bee" by Chris Cleave. It's about a refugee from Nigeria who ends up in London. She works really hard to learn "The Queen's English". I hope some of you will give it a try! It's an interesting story with great writing.

I read "Mystic masseur" by V.S Naipaul . This book exposed a country man who climbs from the ignorance and his lack of knowledge , to being one of the most prolific politician in the county .

Hello, guys. I've just become a member of this group. I'm kind of excited I can share books I've read and I am now reading. I try to learn English through reading 'cause I can't take many chances to communicate with people in English. These days, I just finished a novel for teenagers and started a new book titled 'Angel Inside', a self-help book.

Ok, Thanks for accepting this idea. We can start with a short story I Put here. I would be glad if dear members read it carefully and discuss over it with any idea or conclusion they may get from the text. As a teacher I've found it very useful in improving reading and writing.
