I’ve written my name both in English (top) and my mother tongue, Tamil (bottom). I wrote it on a blank fancy card with floral border! I used ordinary marker pens (Artline 90 and Artline 200 Fine 0.4) to create it. I still couldn’t find my old Calligraphy Set, Sahar! Thus, I’m not really satisfied with the outcome of my work! Please forgive me for presenting here such shoddy penmanship :-( 

The name 'Gabriel' is pronounced /ˈgeɪbriəl/. It is of Hebrew origin with the meaning… man of God, hero of God also my strength is God.

I’m delighted that you’re keen to know what else I could do when it comes to calligraphy! Thank you!!

I like the Gothic writing style the most, especially Medieval manuscripts. What I wrote here is considered pretty basic! As I mentioned earlier, I will try to write for your future challenges with other writing styles that calligraphers consider as more striking. Bye for now!

P.S. One must use a good calligraphy set if he wants to produce a  fine penmanship. Unfortunately, I've mislaid my set :-(

Hello dear Sahar,

Writing your name in your native language is a great idea.It will make us learn about others language.Teacher Gabriel's writing inspired me a lot.Thus, I decided to add my work here.

My name is written in Arabic language, It's called " Kufi Calligraphy " Mostly in my drawings I use pencil,but using marker pen ( Black) in Kufi calligraphy looks more beautiful.

"Asma" means Beauty and Highness.
