Little fly
Thy summer's play
My thoughtless hand
Has brushed away.

Am not I
A fly like thee?
Or art not thou
A man like me?

For I dance
And drink and sing,
Till some blind hand
Shall brush my wing.

If thought is life
And strength and breath,
And the want
Of thought is death,

Then am I
A happy fly
If I live
Or if I die.

Thank you all, I'm glad you liked it but I wish I had written it myself (haha), nevertheless I'm happy that it could serve it's purpose finely.
Dear Polomi,

Your poem is so nice and gentle. However, if you like writing peom, you can do it. You can do whatever you want.

Take care,
Nafis
Hi Nafis,
yes you are right we can do whatever we want. In fact I have already attempted once of writing a poem. I will be glad if you check that out on my page namely, 'Sometimes I think why do we grow up'.
Hope you like that too :)
