@ Naz D:

When I was in Saudi Arabia many people from other countries were taking the TOEFL.  So the answer is yes, you can take it in any country that you are able to visit and sign up for the test.  The test is administered from overseas so it doesn't matter where the official test center is located.

Hi everyone, good to know that there is a group for TOEFL test.

I got an TOEFL iBT scheduled on 27, April and i don't feel like i can achieve a high score. I was too naive. Unfortunately, and sadly, there is no other option but making a rush. I'm currently put in special circumstance.

I'm well aware of the fact that i'm the only one who can truly help myself, still, it would be very reliable to have a company.

If you're preparing TOEFL like me, then i believe that you're gonna agree with that we have the least something to discuss about.

To Listening session, there's a tip I like too much: try to see a lot of movies in english!

You can start watching movies with legend IN ENGLISH (it helps you to understard what are you listening). Then, start to watch movies that you already saw, but without legend. Finally, you can start to watch new movies in english without legends.

To improve your skills for the tests, it's important to listen to cientifical TV channels (web channels are useful at the same level). Watch the News programs can be very useful too!

Just to remember: I'm a student too. These are just some tips I use. I'm just sharing my experiences to help answering the questions below.

The perfect tip to improve Reading skills is start to read books in your english level, and then change to other books in higher levels.

The official TOEFL website indicates a very usefull tool for help students, the Lexille (

It's very easy to use. You just need to enter the website above and put your actual grade in TOEFL tests. Then, the website will convert your grade for a Lexile range and ask about your interest categories.

The website gives you a large list of books that are helpfull to improve your english while you're having a good time. It's very cool!

P.S.: If you don't know your grade at TOEFL reading session, enter the page below, click in one of that tests and try to do the reading session:
