Tara's Bio
Tara Benwell is a freelance writer and editor who specializes in materials and articles for the ELT industry. Since trading her teaching career for self employment five years ago, Tara has been telecommuting throughout Canada, the U.S. and Asia, working with educational content producers and publishers. Tara is the awards editor for EnglishClub.com and TEFL.net, and contributes monthly materials, articles, and tips for learners and teachers at both sites. Self employment has allowed Tara the flexibility required to balance career, fiction, and motherhood.
Tara has completed her first novel and secured representation with The Carolyn Swayze Agency. With one of Canada's most successful literary agents in her corner, Tara hopes to find an interested publisher for The Proper Order of Things. Tara is currently awaiting word on a recent revision.
Tara is also interested in doing her part for the earth. She has contributed to the parenting blog Eco Child's Play and has helped launch a new section on TEFL.net called TEFL Earth.

- Hello Tara,
Thanks for your teacher's opinion, i've really enjoyed answering Selma 's interesting questions. I like this challenge but really i don't really feel confortalbe to ask questions to people here, so i thought maybe i could just write an article about a topic that really interests me. What do you think, is this also possible ? And where should i post it ? The thing is that i would love to have the corrections on the mistakes i did, so i can learn more. Would this be possible ?
