How I nearly learnt Japanese

Although starting yet again on yet another language with the usual recipe of vocab lists, graded readers, self study textbooks and horribly uncommunicative language classes was about the biggest pain in the arse I could possibly imagine, unlike Darrrrren Ellliottttt I actually really got into Japanese through a combination of it being a very different [...]

What I just learnt on YouTube

A rare occurence, I know, but this kansaikidsdotcom YouTube channel (of a school called The Learning Tree which I had never heard of- thank you Google!) had lots of little teaching ideas for young and very young learners that I’d never thought of or seen: - Get the students to whisper their answers to the teacher so [...]

By the numbers: 8 – number of laptops I brought into class 6 – the number of which successfully booted up 5 – the number [...]

Ideas for using the popular song "Ten in a Bed" and any of the many books based upon it.

Using “Brown Bear Brown Bear” in EFL class

How to use the classic picture book "Brown Bear Brown Bear" in class, and ways to adapt these ideas to other books.

A way to do away with ALTs?

(= assistant language teachers). You can see why they might want to, because although their pay is being cut and skimmed off by recruitment agencies while they get abuse for not being qualified teachers and then treated like human tape recorders when they are, none have agreed to live in a cardboard box in the [...]

Hi Gamer,
My friends took that photos for me at a sanddune in Mui Ne, Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province, Vietnam, from 4.30am to 6.30am, around 50 photos. We went to MuiNe and stay at Lion spa and resort near the beach. It's a wonderful resort, you can see it on internet. I went there with the whole company for a short beak just Saturday and Sunday. We enjoyed some activities and games the whole night then went to the Pink sanddune at 4am by car. It took 15mins more to walk inside and stopped at the first sanddune because we're all tired. It was the last Saturday and Sunday in June,2009. My two friends and I volunteered to be models for the others who wanted to practice to take photos. Thank you for your comment. Can we be friend ? I would like to pratice English more.Have a great day!
