Rabab said… Hellooo Vesper,
How are you today?
I am glad to know that u love reading as well. How impressive the wide range of ur taste. I read only a single play I guess looooooong time ago it was Romeo and Juliet. I remember I had great difficulty with it's vocabulary which ruined my reading pleasure :S. I would like to read a play but am afraid the classics have difficult vocabulary, what you think? For me I prefer recent books their language is more familiar. I read some classics that I loved like Wuthering Heights and Rebecca. I started reading Pride and Prejudice but get sidetracked by another novel that I was more interested in and then never continued reading it again.
Recently I have read the twilight saga (4books) and the host by Stephanie Meyer. The Hunger games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. Matched & Crossed by Ally Condie. The Host is my favorite so far. The others I liked so much as well.
I have a big concern regarding my reading attitude, I read for pleasure and because: stop reading and look up for new words ruin this pleasure I rarely do it. As long as I can understand the context I never look up new words. I think that reading this way does not help increasing my vocabulary:(.
And when I find a lot of new words in a book I just give up reading it. I really want to improve my English through reading ,would you advice me please..
