Do You Like Facebook? Let's Blog About It!

EnglishClub's Facebook page received its 100,000th like yesterday! This is a huge milestone. EnglishClub has been on Facebook since 8 July 2009. You can look through our Timeline to see some other fun Milestones, such as the date EC was born.

Some of EC's members love Facebook. Others hate it. Others liked it in the past, but now prefer other social media sites, such as Google +,  twitter, or even MyEC! Some of our members are denied access to Facebook due to government restrictions. We are happy they can use MyEC to connect.

Are you looking for something to blog about this week? Here are some Facebook-related topics for you. Feel free to use the image in this post on your own blog about Facebook to help celebrate this milestone. After you've written your Facebook post, share a link to it in the comments below. We may even share your blog post on our Facebook page! (Just imagine how big your audience will be.)

hello guys....my kid's form-master has created an account in FB and she is using it for announcements and for videos and pics...so that parents who cannot manage to come to school or the parents' meetings may have the opportunity to be aware whats going on in the classroom and outside...see how they have spend their time in the school yard on the first snowy day ...amazing..thats what we use FACEBOOK for...

What I was going to write here, Lord Maurice already done.  I go with him on this topic.  I am not the frequent user of FB, but recently I had to discontinue it, because of the irritating followers.

I like it. I can keep in touch with people, learn about certain things, find people I haven't seen in years, and play games.  It is very popular, but it also has its negative points, like for example spammers, those people who play with others' feelings and deceive them by publishing pictures of sick people and even saying that one or other company will donate money for each share. Also, there are fake profiles made by dangerous people like rapers, killers, etc.  You have to be careful. And something that I don't like is when my students log in to facebook in the middle of the class, or even play candy crush.  I hate that misrespectful attitude.
