The changing role of the teachers between the past and the present !

In the fast changing world,public teaching is also changing.As part of the changes the teachers role and authority in the classroom .

In the past teachers used to be the major source of knowledge ,the leader and educator of their students ,they used to be the authority in the class, but nowadays teachers need to teach their learners how to gain the information and how to select and use them,but the main problem is that the role of the teacher is changing day by day ,and  teachers face many problems with the students and their families  .The parents blame the teachers for the failure of their kids and for their bad behaviours sometimes . Do you think the teachers role has changed because of the technical changes in the world that makes a teacher not the only source of information or it's the modern educational methods.

I think the student failure is really a teacher failure when a teacher fails to give positive feedback,and fails to use encouragement creatively .  Teachers can provide the information and lead the students to the right way of gaining the information and applying it correctly,but students should also work hard to succeed and get high marks .

The question is : who is responsible for the failure of  the students ? and why do you think the teacher's authority  has changed?

@Jose-Daniel:

Hi Daniel! Thanks alot for reading and commenting .I really appreciate it !

you are right ! It's a problem everywhere and as you said ,the root is inside the family ,when the kids grow ,the values should also grow with them ,how to respect the teachers and what's the core of education and knowledge ..I think if the kids understand all these concepts ,then they can build themselves correctly with our help( parents and teachers ) .

@Mitran:

I got your idea dear ,no need to explain ! You wrote about the two roles one for teachers to educate and teach knowledge ,and one of the parents to build the good personality and character of their kids .If both do their parts correctly so they will build a good and successful generation which we can't buy it by money only !

Thanks alot for your nice comment dear! See you soon!

Hala, Hi ! What an issue ! I thought this was a domestic problem, here where I live, but it seems to be happening everywhere... I think the root of the problem is born inside the family, no doubt about it. Congratulations on your work here !!

Hi dear Hala,

Inspiring blog!

People who want to blame only the teacher for the students being successful or not are wrong, unless all the students fail.So,I think learning is a partnership in which teacher,student,and parent need to share responsibility.

My kind Teacher....

So many time I told with you. I respect you so much. I tell a truth. The social is new. Parents always think that : teach and educate children is Teacher's mission. But they are wrong. Teacher teach them knowledge and behaviour but if the parents pamper their kid. So I'm sure the kid will be a bad guy.

In my country, We call Teacher as a second mom. Even we have some songs about it. Now, I can see...some parents use money for buying good marks. And when their kid become bad, they think It's Teacher's fault. Why they don't think it's their fault. Money can buy anything but It cannot by a good character/behavour, right? I hate that way. How about your country? Is it the same ? or not?

I do anything and try to earn more money just because of my Kids. I want them to have a good conditions. But I never pamper them. They need to know that : earning money is a hard work. I must lose my health, my time, my young age...for it. So they cannot ask any toy/clothes/shoes....which I don't like.

OMG...As I told, my poor English..and you wanna hear my idea. How can I explain to you.

OK. here is my crazy comment.....

I love your picture...hahaha....You're in it, right?

OMG....Now, let have look ....In 1961, Teacher is simple. I mean : she wears a "unobstrusive" T-shirt. And when she hears their "shouting"...she is surprise. she thinks...she did like that because of him. She just wants he remember about his lesson.

In 2011...hahahaha..very attractive. She looks like a "top model". and she isn't surprise. She doesn't care.....bad guy or good guy...It's not her mission. Oh, dear Teacher...I just tease you, please don't mind.
