because people speak English
We are getting a bad storm later today.
For some reason the tv stations broadcast this as an very unusual event!
A snowstorm in the winter! Imagine that!
We will fine unless the media scares us all to death before the first snowflake falls.
It is 7:15 in the morning. People are rushing to the stores and fighting with each other over batteries.
On TV it looks a little like an ant hill with people scurrying around the Home Depot, carting away their treasures.
I work in a grocery store and I'm off today. Trust me when I say I am NOT answering the phone! My boss is probably on the phone already calling everyone to come in. And I know my co-workers are not answering their phones either. LOL - laughing out loud.
When people in my area hear that "s" word...SNOW...I cannot begin to describe it. Sometimes I wish I could stick a webcam on my hat and show you this.
A snowstorm in the winter. Imagine that!
Have a great day everyone! Now I must go find batteries.

Comment by AuroraBorealis on February 9, 2013 at 4:49 Are you living in Toronto? We have snowfall too!

Yes, it seems there's no reason to panic. Good luck!
