I'm a night owl, which always dreams of an early bird. haha..
Now, it's 2:13 a.m.
One of my new-year resolutions is to be a morning person and not to take a nap.
It seems like every year I add it on the to-do list. Of course, I've never made it.
If I go to bed earlier, for example at around 9, I never fail to wake up in 4 hours, which is too early.
If I go to bed at midnight, I can't fall asleep quickly so I get up again to do something.
Then what shall I do?
These days, I'm so confused. Do I have to enjoy staying up late? Or Should I find another way to get up in the early morning? I desperately want to know how to be an early bird.
I think unless I break a tiny bad habit, I will not be able to come even one step closer to my goal.

I should try to stay away from electronic devices at least 2 hours before going to bed.

It's your sleeping pattern that makes it hard for you to change your sleeping habit. Our body needs at least eight hours to sleep. If you are used to sleeping early at dawn... you are creating a pattern which is repetitive and in which your body will get used to it. Try to drink warm milk at night and have a good warm bath (optional) .... although they can induce sleep but you need to help yourself break that sleeping pattern.
And I agree with Roger......get away from activities that awaken your interest. They will not make you feel sleepy. Listening to soft music or read a book instead of sitting in front of your computer will get you to your slumber.
