because people speak English
Hi everyone,
How is everything with you? I hope that you are enjoying your time on earth!
Well, there is a program on MTV with the title "When I was 17". There, some artists talk about what they did when they were 17.
It's fun to hear what people have done in the past and how they see it after some years.
Some people do crazy things when they are teenagers, and after a couple of years, when they recall what they've done, they admit that they were just insane!
Some weeks ago, when I and some of my friends were out for a walk, one of my friends said that when she was a high schools student, she used to do crazy and dangerous things and at that time, she thought that by those deeds she was brave. But now she sees that how dangerous those actions would be. For example, she, instead of taxis, used to accept rides on strangers' cars even seeing that there were only men in those cars. She might have been kidnapped or so if she had gotten in the wrong cars!
Well, I admit that when I was younger and a single, I used to do such things, too. Some nights, after my classes at university were finished, I would walk alone in deserted and sort of dark allies and streets. At that time, even though I was afraid, I kept doing such a thing.
Can you share something about yourself when you were .... ?
Update:
When I was a teenager, I wanted to continue my studies in medical engineering. You know why? Because its name contains the most prestigious jobs in our society. I wanted to kill two birds with one stone; to be both an engineer and a doctor!!!
Even now, I may continue my post graduation studies in this branch, since one of the branches of electrical engineering, my fields of studies, is medical engineering, Bioelectrical engineering.
Who knows what come next?

Dear Ario,
Thanks so much for your nice comment here.
Yeah, failures at the time when we are just teenagers mean a lot to us. When we are young we are too sensitive about our achievements and failures. When we are a teenager, if we are not able to control our feelings and if we are not able to find good reasons to continue our path, we can face more destructive failures and results.
I do understand what you say. When I was a teenager, my grades in exams were too much important to me, even if the exam was not a very important one. Once when I was at high school, I was too upset because I couldn't do well on an exam. I went to our superintendent's office while crying. She tried to calm me down and she talked to me about the subject. She was a good listener for me at that time.
I admit that even now my grades are too much important to me.
Anyhow, thanks for taking part in the discussion here.
Have a nice time
:)
Thanks dear Nafis for your nice comment here.
Oh, I see! To change the whole world! ha? Still, why not? Changing the world to some extend is possible. Even by producing less CO2 in one day, we can change the world, can't we? :)
Yeah, each stage of life has its own characteristics. :)
Have a nice time
:)

I watched this program and I found similarities that those artists and celebrities had when they were 17. When I was 17, I failed at my national college entrance test and I thought my life was doomed.
Very nice and interesting blog dear Zahra! wow! !7? when I look back, I laugh at myself because of crazy things I did or I thought. I thought I could change the whole world! I also was very egoistic!
Anyway, that's 17 and every age has its own beauty.
Wow, that's such a good habit!
Well, as long as a habit does not interfere with one's natural life, health, and well-being of the soul, it's OK to keep up with it.
About the sleep amount; in my opinion, a person himself knows how much sleep they need. But sometimes we train our body to get used to a certain amount of sleep. We may get used to sleep not as much as we do need, but as much as we like.In this case, it may not be good for the health.
Anyhow, thanks so much for your nice comment. It was really such a great good habit.
Have all the best
:)

When I was a teen, I used to read 3 books a day that my mother would sometimes scold me for being addicted to the habit and deprived myself of the much needed sleep that a youngster should complete. I really have this propensity to become addicted to something which catches my interest. Nice blog, Zahra!
