Writing Challenge: Dinner Guest

For my imaginary dinner party I would love to invite Adam to my home, the first human. I don’t think he was used to eating meat; therefore, we would feast with a variety of fruits and vegetables. He may have tried grapes in the Garden of Eden but I’m sure some of the fruits that we enjoy today are new to him. I must make sure not to put apples on the table though, as it might remind him of some sad memories. I would host him in the backyard to give him a dash of Eden’s charm while enjoying the good weather.

At the table, after pouring him a cup of tea, with milk and sugar, I would ask him what age he was when God made him. Was he an infant at that time or was he an adult? “Let’s make man in our image.

Imagine being the only human in the Garden of Eden. While I’m peeling a banana for him, I would ask him how he was spending his time. Did he have any friends among the angles or animals of the Garden?

I would offer him some red sweet ripe watermelon and ask him while he was still single in the Garden, did he ever imagine going close to that forbidden tree that was in the middle of the Garden? And who came to the idea that he needed a companion of the opposite sex?

Then God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep, and took one of his ribs.”  Then I would ask him how he felt when he woke up and saw his wife, Eve, naked. “Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.

Then I’d offer him some chocolate cake, which I assume he would love, and would ask him of the day Eve tempted him of trying the forbidden fruit, and why after eating it, they came into the realization that they were naked. “Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked.” At that moment, I would pour him a glass of lemonade, with ice, as it would be hard for him to deal with the feelings of guilt regarding that sin, especially the one that changed the course of humanity. After a pause, he would say that it was the way that God planned it.

Before he would leave, we would shoot a few photos to upload on Facebook. Not every day you would have Adam as your guest.

Hello dear noaslpls. Yes he did have some questions for me too. Before he left, he invited me to his home, Garden of Eden. And I asked him to wait a few years until the time comes :)~

This time you blogged a good one, though most of your questions to Adam are already answered in many books, you just read a bit more and will find the answers of most of your questions here and rest which aren't answered I think if Allah found it important to be answered, HE would have done it.

Regarding to "and why after eating it, they came into the realization that they were naked.", they realized it because after they ate from the forbidden tree, they needed to use toilet, so they came to awareness of a part of their body they were ignoring about... "fa akalaa menha fa badat lahuma saw2atuhuma wa tafeqaa yakhsefaane 3alayhemaa men waraq-e-ljannah....." (In the result, they both ate of the tree, and so their nakedness appeared to them: they began to sew together, for their covering, leaves from the Garden...) (Taha, verse 121)

BTW, Eve was not the one who attempted Adam of trying the forbidden tree, Satan did it to both of them (Adam and Eve)...."fa waswasa LAHUMA ashshytaan....." (Then began Satan to whisper suggestions to them..........) (Al a3raaf, verse 20).

And it is not confirmed that the forbidden fruit was apples, but it's ok.

BTW, I think Adam would have questions to ask them to you about the mad world we live in now more than you have.

Well, your blog this time is a nice one, do not delete it   ;)
