My upcoming trip to Scorched Beach
Dearest MoMo,
You promised me to come back to MyEC to learn and practice English with me after finishing our final examination. Till now, it has been a month and I see no trace of you! Dear, come here or I won't help you with English as I promised…LOL…
OK, today I'd like to tell you about the trip I'm going to take. Last Saturday afternoon, my cousin, Hien, who is studying at Hanoi College of Education (HCE), visited my house and invited me to come to her hometown at Bai Chay (Scorched Beach) next week. when By that time, she finishes will have finished her studying and started her summer vacation. Well, at first, I thought I would decline her invitation, as I can't even swim. But then my mom encouraged me to go for fun, and Hien also insisted on inviting me, so I finally said "Yes!". I'm so happy now that I decided so!
As you probably know, Bai Chay is a large, beautiful, artificial beach closed to the coast of Ha Long Bay. But since I've never been there before, I need to search for some information to know more about the place I'm going to stay for a month. Following are some of its best views:

No wonder for its reputation for it is one of the reputed wonders of the world

There are quite a number of boats and ships moving in and out

Bathing beach
And you know what; there are legends regarding to this beach's interesting name. In 1287, Bai Chay was the place where Vietnamese troops and locals under the leadership of Tran Khanh Du set fire to the group of military ships carrying food for the Yuan-Mongolian invaders. Meanwhile, the northeast wind blew hard and therefore, the nearby forest was on fire, too. After that Since then, the name Bai Chay came into has become popular. Another legend is that when viewing from Hon Gai and other neighboring places, people always see a blaze from there on the beach. that's why Thus, it's called Bai Chay.
(I got the photos of the beach and the information about it from here)
So, what do you think? I made the right decision, didn't I? :) Oh, I just can't wait until next Monday when I can start my trip to this heavenly beach! This is going to be the most awesome July I've ever had. And when I get back, I want to see lots of your activities here on this club. Otherwise, you won't get any souvenirs at all :D
Take care and see you really soon!
Love you,
Ha

Hope to see your blog post regarding this writing challenge soon :)

You did very nicely. Now, it's my time. :-)
It's very nice to know about this place. Wish to visit one day! Thanks for sharing, Ha..!
...and waiting for Momo. :-)

Dear teacher Anele,
I'm so thankful for your corrections!
I haven't done grammar exercises for quite a long time and I think that why I forgot many structures. So there is no preposition after "regarding". I remember studying about "since then", but I couldn't remember which tense to use after that phrase. So it's the present perfect, not past tense, I'll try to remember this.
Once again, thank you for spending your time correcting my mistakes, teacher! :)

Dear Asma,
Thank you so much for your supportive words! :)

Dear Forget-me-Not,
Thank you so much for your praise! Well, my English level is Intermediate (as I've taken several English level tests), so I really need to learn and practice much more :)
I'm so glad you love the photos :)

And do you know that there are legends regarding to this beach's interesting name? Do you know that there are legends regarding this beach's interesting name?
No wonder (that) it is one of the reputed wonders of the world. (correct!)
Since then, the name Bai Chay came into popular. (past tense)/After that, the name Bai Chay has come into popular. (present perfect tense)
Since then, the name Bai Chay has become popular.

The second legend is that people always see a blaze in/on (I'm not sure which preposition to use) this beach when viewing from Hon Gai and other neighboring places, thus, it's called Bai Chay.
The second legend tells us that people in Hon Gai and other neighboring places always see a blaze on the beach. Thus, it is called Bai Chay.
