My dear teacher,

I can't thank you enough for all your supportive words (and photos :D) :) For sure if I have any confusion, I will ask for your help :) The TOEIC exam is the test for communication skill at work and it's quite popular in my countries. At first I thought I would head to the IELTS exam, but after searching for information on the Internet, I changed my mind. Now my friend also agree to be my companion in preparation for the test, and she's going to take the exam as well, so I have no reason to not to go for it :) We can take the test any time so we'll register when we're ready :)

Thanks for reminding me about teacher Gabriel's first lesson :) I'm going to do it right now :)

Hope you enjoy your afternoon, teacher! :)

Ahhh, come on, Galina, I was just lucky to remember that song suddenly... :) Well, now it's my turn to feel ashamed (lol): errrrrrr, to be very honest, I've never heard the original (L.Zykina's) performance of that song :-S ..... :D although I knew that it was her song. First time I heard this song was as I was watching the lovely New Year's musical movie "Old songs about important things-1" if I'm not being wrong, it was performed by Vladimir Presnyakov (junior), and you know, he did it really great! (BTW, he can sing the sad lyrical songs amazingly! lol...) Yeah, you are right, I really like Russian songs and singers too, but not the nowadays' ones, then an "elder" generation, and it refers not only to RUssian singers, then also to ours (now I find myself being a bit old-fashioned in that case, lol). Have a nice sleep!!! :)

Hi Galina! :)

Thanks for dropping by and for your nice comments too! Wow, you really find my city amazing? But we don't have any river flowing through the city and making its view spectacular! lol... Well, however, "the tongue ever turns to the aching tooth"... :) But I'm pleased to know that you liked it, and, of course, I would be more pleased to welcome you here some day! :)

Hmmm, as for the song, I was always singing like "..and I'm 17; ...and I'm 30: ...and I'm in my 70's..." But I may be wrong :))))))

See, I have been completely right by saing that you are a wonderful daughter, who delights her mom not only bu visiting her, then also by helping her a lot, as I came to know. Bravo, may God bless you!!!

Wow, I really liked that place, which is close to your house, it delights the eyes...

Wish you a great day ahead! :)

Hello, dear Galina!

Thank you so much for accepting my request! :) Come on, you don't need to say sorry, I know that you visited your mom, and hope you both enjoyed that week with each other :)... I also hope that your mom is doing well. However, she is lucky to have such a wonderful daughter, who takes time to please her with visits :).

Oh, as I came to know that you were having vacation, I missed mine too, which I had in June and ran away from our heat, lol. But now it's hotter than in June ( it's about 45 degrees)!!! But we have a quite dry climat here, so it's endurable... :)

Yes, Galina, I live in Tashkent, but my home town is located 60 km's away from here (so my parents too...:)) So in that case, we have something in common :).  Yeah, your assumption about Uzbekistan is absolutely correct! I looked up some pictures about Saratov, it's wonderful, especially the view of Volga is spectacular! Looking at the pics, I just remembered a sad song in Russian: "...from far,far away the river Volga is flowing with no end in sight; between the breads, between the snows my Volga is flowing; and me....:( I'm already in my 70's... :(" But never mind that, lol!

Have a wonderful time!

Good morning dear teacher,

Finally you're back from the trip :) Thanks for telling me about your trip. So your mother lives on her own. How often do you and your brothers/sisters visit her, teacher? I hope she'll always stay healthy.

On EC, I find Gabriel's pronunciation lessons very interesting. My pronunciation is not very good and I really hope I can improve it soon :) My friend and I have recently decided to take the TOEIC exam. We choose "Starter TOEIC" to start with, and we're working on Chapter 1 about English grammar. Yes, before that I still spent much time watching films, and Tinkle Bell movie series is the latest one I've watched.

In Vietnam, the weather is also very hot, teacher. The temperature is often in range of 30 - 35 Celsius degrees. About swimming, I haven't had chance to swim yet :)

Thank you for all your nice cards, I love them always! :)

Have a great week, dear teacher! :)

Hello Galina !

How are you ? and how was your vacation going on ? I think you spent few relaxing days in your home town....

For me , as you noticed ,I spend my vacation at home most the days and trying to do some useful things tro keep up to date with the language ...to tell you the truth ,whenever I practice and read more English ,I feel that I need more and more ...you can understand me because you like reading too .

The good news from my side is that I moved to the best high school in my city -it's for the outstanding students- and I'll start teaching there next September .I'm happy for that because I can see myself improving day by day .

Galina! I'm really pleased that you admire my discussions ...

I 'm trying to simplify them and make them clear and understandable as much as I can ...

Your words inspire and encourage me to be more active because they are coming from a great teacher and friend .

Thank you so much dear and have a nice day

Hello Galina, I suppose you are now in your mom's home. Does your daughter also go with you?  I'm glad to hear you are much better. Yeah, perhaps it's a kind of heritable wisdom from our ancient so the old generation may pass it to the next generation. As I have free time, I'd like cooking some Chinese herbal tea to enhance immunity of the body. You can see the picture including wolfberryjujube, lotus seed and tremella. They also help to make your skin healthy and ruddy. Do you have some herbal tea like that in your country?

PS: Please let me know how you feel it once you really try the ginger tea. ^_^

Happy weekend~
