A pet doesn't have to live under your own roof. Meet Riley!
Since we don't own Riley, we have the "best of both worlds". We get to enjoy a pet without all of the responsibilities.

Sorry! I mixed up the names of both pets because I didn’t hear their names clearly (I watched your video clip again now to make it clear). But, I examined the back ground intensely! Yes, the leash is better rather than letting them move freely outside. Really, I had a pet dog a couple of years back, but he was died of an accident. As you mentioned, this would make a great topic for further discussions. Please don’t misunderstand me! In your country, can you find stray dogs (or cats) in streets? In my country, it is a big issue really!
OK!!! Thanks for your reply!
Actually Charlie is my neighbour's cat. He is tied up because he is a house cat. If they let him go, he won't come back. My neighbour once chased him for hours. Fortunately, we found him in my garage a day later! They let him outside sometimes for fresh air. Actually, in the summer Charlie spent a lot of time in the backyard. Personally, I think a leash is probably better than no time outside. What do you think?
Riley is typically on a leash too (because it is law to tie up your dogs when you don't have a fenced in yard), but when we're outside we take him off the leash to play with him. I think this would make a great topic for the discussion forum, Bimal.
I liked it! I was very happy watching your video clip! Please don’t misunderstand me! I saw your Reliy (your pet cat) was tied with a cord (may be a light chain) being fixed to something, but your Charlie was running here and there freely! In my country, the cats are never ever tied with cords, but the dogs are tied! Anyhow, you presented everything in very natural way! I love genuine people!
Thank you for the response, Tara! I appreciate it! : )
@Robbie Yes, you need to get your cats and dogs licensed in Canada. I'm not sure about other pets, though.
That's an excellent video! I'm very pleased to see you participating on our video challenge. It is nice to meet Charlie and Riley! It looks like they get along with each other. Riley wants to stay in your place because you always have yummy food! : )
Thank you very much for sharing your adopted pets!
I just have a question. In Canada, do you have to get a permit from the animal bureau or a government agency if you want to have a pet? : )
It seems like he is receiving a good treatment in your house that he thinks he lives there hahahaha! He looks to be a happy dog and his brother Charlie too! Nice video Tara!
He actually lives next door, but he thinks he lives here! So funny!
Thanks for sharing Tara...
