Hi I'm Joey. I love greens, but I'm very poor in gardening, all my plants die, nothing sustains for more than a month. Hope can find some tips here.

Very nice...
I think it would be even more awesome, if you had there more weeds too, because now it's too easy to spot the flowers.
Every upstanding gardener would have the right amount of weeds on his garden. Then he has more likely some wow emotions to come, when he founds some nice plants, that he had forgotten still alive inside weeds..

My garden is growing like crazy this year. I don't know what happened. I guess it's just starting to establish itself over the years. My shade-tolerant hostas are the most impressive!

This year I planted white petunias, pink cosmos, and a bunch of tomato plants. I don't get enough sun for tomatos, but I love the green foliage. We had so much rain this spring that I have managed to keep my annuals alive for over a month! This is a record for me. My perennials are all growing well, too. I have a bunch of hostas because we have mainly shade in our backyard. How is your garden growing?

Well, about the purple ones.

It's close, but not correct. ^_^ It's from same genus (Centaurea) as cornflower(Centaurea cyanus). But it's not Cornflower...

I'm not Not hundred percent sure, but I think it's actually Common Knapweed(Centaurea nigra). ^_^

About the yellow button flower.

Since it's the fast puzzle, and anyone haven't guessed it right yet. I tell the answer.

It's Tansy. Thank's for everyone who tried to solve it.. Too bad u did not make it on time. :P ^_^

Maybe it doesn't grow in Japan, I don't know. Well it have been used for medicinal purposes already long time. Ancient Greeks cultivated it for that..

Most it have been used against intestinal worms..

I believe, that it's flowers don't have petals.. It flowers are just as you see, like buttons..... Yeah, it have compound leaves an yellow button like flowers.

Fast Puzzle1.

Guess the name of this yellow flowered plant. ^_^

It's a weed, but it's also a herbal plant. Though now days not too widely used in medicine since it's toxic, but still sometime used as insect repellent... I have actually tried it my self a long ago. I kept them in my bed against fleas.. Not sure how well it worked. Maybe there was less fleas, but I think some still bite me.. So I'm not sure. :P

Well, it looked so nice on the side of road that I wanted to photograph it, but I couldn't get it's beauty as well I wanted. Although I took so many photos of different angle... It have so nice bright yellow color. I think it may be still grown in garden as decorative plant too... And seems like old time ago it was also used in culinary.... It says that it's native in Eurasia.. with some small exceptions.. seems like it's not found in Siberia. ^_^
