My dear friends,
I was so touched by your interest of A.S.Pushkin's poetry and this encourage me to write more about him.
Recently I saw a TV program where one student said that he doesn't understand the big sense of Pushkin's poetry and that the poet wrote in a ridiculously simple way like every child could do. I was shoked by that statement...And even more when I realised that some others students were thinking almost the same.
May be it is a youthful maximalism...
L.Tolstoy said about the great poet:: "His sense of beauty is developed to the highest degree,as no one else has. And the more brighter the inspiration is, the more hard work must be taken for its implementation. Pushkin's poems in reading are so smooth and so simple, and it seems to us that it has poured out in such a form. But we can't see how much work he did to make it looks so easy and smooth..."

Oh, how many of wonderful discoveries
Enlightenment spirit prepares for us
And Experience, the son of difficult errors,
And the Genius, the friend of paradoxes,
And the Case, the God is inventor.

Nice blog, dear Alexandra, maybe you are right about youthful maximalism... but there are a lot of poeple who are attracted only by what  glitters or sounds pompous and loud. They fail to understand that the most important words that touch the soul are told in a SIMPLE WAY

Dear Inga, thank you so much for your comment. What a wonderful picture of Pushkin! He was a cute boy indeed. Yes, it's a pity but nowadays young people prefer another values, sometimes not appropriate ones. In our life with so many advanced technologies we just have no time for reading a book.
Many thanks,
Alexa
