I also like this video! Yes, we have almost exactly the same saying here in Ukraine, but it sounds like this "Not everything is gold, that glitters" - "Не все те золото, що блищить"

I love the last phrase 'set your teeth on the edge'. I don't know if this applicable when watching violent shows. For example, I usually set my teeth on edge when I watch barbaric scenes on The Game of Thrones!
